Type of Governor: Parent

I have two sons who attend Kingstone School - William in Year 10 and Robert in Year 8.

I have been a police officer with South Yorkshire Police for 18 years and my current role is the Safer Neighbourhood Inspector for Barnsley Central.

As a result, in my home life and work life, I have had many interactions with Kingstone School over the past few years, all of which have been hugely positive.

I chose Kingstone School for my children because I believe that it delivers a holistic service. All aspects of a child's development are considered important and are nurtured in a supportive, yet challenging environment.  
I have attended many school functions and events and have always been impressed with the standard of behaviour from the pupils. I am proud to be part of the Kingstone school family and look forward to playing an active role as Parent Governor.
